The guides were very friendly and helpful. They made the trip down the River fun and safe. All were very knowledgeable. Our guide, Marisa, was awesome. She helped us maneuver each rapid by explaining how we would travel through the rough water and yell out commands as we went. It was a really fun time for our whole family of 3 teen boys.

This was our first time rafting, (girls trip) and we loved it! Our guide was awesome!!! Her name was Kylie. We will definitely go back! The guides, in the other rafts seemed really nice too. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming! We had so much fun.

My wife and I had never been white water rafting before, and quite frankly, it all sounded a bit intimidating. When we signed up with our group of friends for this, we were excited/nervous all at the same time. When we arrived, we were also worried since there were 7 of us total, that we wouldn’t be able to be in the same raft together. However, this is when we met our guide, Mason, who didn’t mind to have a full raft. I will start out by saying, he was so energetic, professional, and welcoming to us all! That in itself put our worries to rest, and we knew that he would make sure we made it through this rafting experience. Throughout the entire tour, Mason not only was incredibly instructive, but also informative. He was able to tell us history of the river, and history of the surrounding areas that the river ran through. He was also able to explain to us why certain rapids are the way they are. Even when we hit an unexpected rock, that threw out half our group, he was quick to get them all back into the raft and make it a fun experience even though people were scared of this very thing! We enjoyed every second of this tour, and would do it again. ESPECIALLY with Mason! If you find yourself in Ohiopyle, PA and you are looking for an adventure…check out the Laurel Highlands River Tours. You will not be disappointed. And if you CAN chose a guide, we would highly recommend Mason. Great time! Can’t wait to do it again!

Super fun experience with skilled and friendly staff! Our guide, Kylee, did an amazing job on the Upper Yough, a section of river notorious for being very difficult and technical. She crushed it! The trip leader, Garth, did a great job with the other boat as well, and the safety boater Mason was there when we needed him (don't worry, it wasn't much!). This section of river is EPIC and SUPER fun, but I would not recommend it to novice rafters - check out the lower Yough first. The receptionist was also very friendly, and everything went smoothly with check-in and all that. Delicious snacks at the end too! I highly recommend this company and rafting on this river!
