As there was a huge event at the Expo Center, it was very crowded. I was seated immediately, ordered quickly, and my soup was waiting for me upon my return from the restroom. My sandwich was delicious, and my waitress, Dana, was pleasant and accommodating. Overall, it was a great eating experience, especially compared to some of the other restaurants nearby. Thanks!

Usually I would drive out of my way to go to a Max and Erma's. I have been to this location for a few years now and it has failed in comparison. Possibly new management is the issue?
When I went there it was not busy but service took way too long. The kitchen has a significant problem. My friend and I had to wait a little more than an hour for two burgers.
I tried their 'award winning' veggie burger, which was one of the worst burgers I have ever had. My friend's burger was about the same taste wise and the burger bun was a few days past fresh. Their burger to bun ratio is way off (3x more bun). When the server asked how it was and I just explained that the veggie burger was completely dry and burned, she said it is usually dry and offered some mayo to add some flavor. Nothing helped since it was already ruined and we both just had a few bites of our burgers and called it a day. When we asked for the check the server was happy to oblige and said "if you ever do come back, try to ask for the burger with a typical bun or just choose something completely different". Good to know now.
Not worth the more than an hour wait time for two burgers, when their was only one couple ahead of us, or the price because of the lack of taste, unless you just want to eat bread, which is the majority of their burgers.
