image RPI has been doing landscape maintenance in our community for many years. They are very professional and knowledgeable and do a great job. No company can please all the people all the time, but they do a great job in the Veranda. They perform their work as per board instructions and government regulations.

Thank you Galen. We enjoy working with you and your team. It remains our goal to do whatever possible to meet and exceed expectations. RPI's relationship with the Board has been very meaningful to our company and we appreciate your 5 star review.

image This company did a terrible job installing a tree in front of my home this week. Despite being informed several times not to plant the tree within 10 feet of our sewer line, they did it anyway. This is common knowledge, but they did not adhere to it. They claim that the roots may not penetrate the line in our lifetime; however, they refuse to warrant against this, move, or remove the tree. Now, I will have to live with the risk of this tree damaging my sewer line, which is very expensive. Buyer beware!

Mr. Mark, as a small business we understand the importance of doing everything possible to provide excellent service and a quality finished product to our customers. In this case we were hired by your Homeowner's Association to replace a tree located in the common area beauty strip in front of your home. The guidance provided to us included planting a new tree in the exact location where the original oak tree was planted when the community was built. The Association made us aware that the existing oak tree was a nuisance due to the acorn drop and they approved our recommendation for a more suitable replacement that would address this complaint. In accordance with the work contracted to our company, we planted a Mushashino Zelcova after carefully preparing the planting hole to ensure a quality installation. The project was overseen by one of our certified arborists and we are confident that the work meets all of the industry standards and best management practices dictated by our industry. We understand that you may not be pleased with the fact that a new tree was planted in this spot but that decision was clearly not ours to make. If it is any consolation to you, the sanitary sewer laterals in your community consist of PVC piping which is much more resistant to root intrusion compared to older obsolete materials used prior to the 1970s. With that said, you should feel reassured that any potential issues associated with tree roots penetrating your sewer line will likely not become an issue during our lifetime. Under these circumstances, we kindly ask that you reconsider your 1 star review. Online reviews have become an essential part of a customer's decision making process and while we are always willing to accept responsibility for our miscues, this particular criticism appears to be misdirected. We hope our response is received favorably and that you understand how much we appreciate the opportunity to provide our services to your community.

image They cut the grass when it didn't need cut, they came out on Dec 28th and cut, yes cut the grass when it didn't need it. The last 4 times they cut it, they left clumps of grass all over our lawn, They started out cheap and ended up over priced. PLEASE ALL OF YOU IN AN HOMEOWNER ASSOCATION, make sure you are getting multiple quote, hired a new company, cheaper at both lawn and snow removal!

Deb, based on your comments we are assuming you are referring to our work at Grandview Chase. We did a little research in order to respond to your 1 star review. First, our records indicate that on December 28th our crew was dispatched to your community to complete the final fall leaf cleanup. While you may have assumed we were cutting the grass, we were actually utilizing our mowers equipped with a leaf collection system to vacuum up any remaining leaves for disposal off-site. With respect to your comment about clumps of grass, I did contact our management team to see if they were aware of any complaints toward the end of the mowing season. One complaint was received late in the season when mowing a few days after a steady rain event. We returned the same week and dispersed some clumps once they had a chance to dry out. While this is not an excuse, the weather can sometimes be a factor in our ability to effectively perform weekly mowing especially when there is precipitation. We hope that you can acknowledge that our crews will always attempt to return to the property and tweak any areas that did not meet our standards. One comment that we do not typically see made about us is that we are cheap (or started out cheap). RPI is typically not the cheapest contractor because that is not how we operate our business. For example, we began working at Grandview Chase three seasons ago because the incumbent contractor was not meeting their contractual obligations. The turf was not receiving broadleaf weed application and was inundated with weeds; sections of the community were not being maintained in accordance with the scope of work and specifications provided by the Association. It is our position that between the first and second season, the appearance of your community improved dramatically. We were under the impression from the Property Manager that there was a noticeable transformation observed. These observations were made during routine walk throughs with our Landscape Managers which provided the opportunity to scrutinize our work and make recommendations to improve our performance. We do acknowledge that there was considerable pressure to increase prices during the 18 months of unprecedented inflation which had a significant impact on the landscape industry because of our reliance on labor, equipment and fuel. However, we would have been more than willing to engage in a discussion to figure out a way to reduce costs to meet any budgetary constraints. For example, the frequency of some of the services we provided were increased during our tenure and could have been pared back. With respect to snow removal, the last two winter seasons were very mild in Lancaster. Perhaps we didn't have a sufficient amount of snow to demonstrate our efficiency. We are sincerely sorry that you were disappointed with our work at your community over the past three years. From our perspective, we enjoyed the opportunity to be of service. If you didn't receive the e-mail we sent to you in early December, please give us a call. We would certainly appreciate the opportunity to better understand your decision to non-renew our contract and how we could have improved our performance.

image Live in an apt complex that uses this company.. Unfortunately all the guys do is mow and blow away the grass.
Here's an idea! Weed wack!
You get paid.
Do a complete job.
The back door areas have weeds that are above the knee in some areas but definitely shin high in most.
I would never recommend this company. Lazy employees.

Hi Olivia. We followed up on this earlier today and discovered that the crew was unable to complete the weekly mowing yesterday. They were scheduled to return this morning to finish the string trimming behind several buildings. One of our Landscape Managers will be conducting an inspection tomorrow to make sure the work was completed to our standards. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you but we are working to resolve.

image I cant say enough good things about RPI as a company. I had them come out to do some roof work and their account manager (Bobby) was a pleasure to work with. He was very straightforward about what needed to be done, and he made sure his company did it exactly as described. They did such a great job that I immediately scheduled them to come back out and do some other renovations that needed to be done. Our office bathrooms needed to be updated and they also took care of some sidewalk issues that had become a real eye sore. They got it taken care of of ASAP.
They are a one stop shop company that you can trust. Thanks again RPI & Bobby!
