image Our son was in the first group of infants when this center opened and was enrolled there until we moved out of the area, about 5 years. The staff is amazing, my son developed such a close bond with several of his teachers throughout the years. He was always excited to go and see his friends. The center is clean and well kept, the owner is very communicative. We really miss LELC since we moved and realize how much better it is compared to other places now that we are in a different center for our younger child. Wish we were closer.

image I work at LELC and my son goes here, as well. To put it straight, I would have quit by now if I felt my son was unsafe. However, my sons teacher and all of the other teachers who visit in his room, take the time to know and accommodate to each child! Before working here, I was a stay at home mom for quite some time and my son had a crazy transition period, and his teachers did not give up on him, did not treat him any differently and he was always loved! This is the first daycare where I genuinely felt safe to leave my child!
I have had the most positive work experience, while working here! The staff is great, where we all know each other and take the time to communicate and it feels like home! We love all of the kiddos! In my classroom, we are big on routine and doing what is best for our students! If a child comes in crying, of course we are going to help them feel comforted (and then less than five minutes later they will see a toy they want and go play). If a child hurts another child or has continued bad behavior after being told to stop, of course they are going to get in trouble; however, that does not mean we do not love them any less. Seeing these smiling faces everyday brighten my day, hearing my name every time I walk in the door makes my heart melt, and when they all come gather around me to give me a hug its the best feeling ever! I love my job and all of my coworkers!

image If you would've asked me about the center when they first open, I would've gave them 5 stars. I now give them one and that's being generous. The center has gone extremely downhill over the past year to year and half. The new director Melissa is incompetent, inexperienced, and unprofessional. The center cannot keep employees. My child's room has had 8 different teachers in a span of the past six months. All of the good teachers leave and then we're stuck with the incompetent and rude teachers. The current teachers' called my child a "bully" and "stupid", when my child has never even received one write up. The new teachers have zero childcare experience. One stated, she came from the corporate world. I walked in and caught them screaming at the children with my child crying several days in a row. They think yelling at the children and negative reinforcement is acceptable form of discipline and redirection. The director has seen and acknowledged the teachers yelling at the children first hand on the camera and told me, but did nothing to discipline/redirect the teachers. My child had come home on several different occasions with various marks on her. The daycare never reported the marks, cuts, and bruises to me. I had to speak to the school several times about not documenting the injuries. They think keeping physically aggressive children is acceptable. The school also gave my child the wrong amount of her required medication even though they had a doctors note on file on the amount; they could've seriously hurt my child! No apology was given, just the teacher got nervous and gave her too much. I asked the owner, Jess, to call me to discuss my concerns and she never did. The center is unprofessional and is more worried about keeping their rude and incompetent staff and making money than taking the parents concerns seriously. Save your money, time, stress and look elsewhere to provide the proper, professional, and safe care for your child/children.

image My nephew went to this school for a few years and has multiple bad experiences there. Hes been bullied by a kid whose mom works there so that kid never got in trouble, but my nephew would get in trouble for standing up for himself when the adults wouldnt help him. Hes had the daycare workers yell at him for talking to a parent and told to learn his place. His mom pulled him out after this in incident. Ive talked to other parents who say this place is very vindictive and they worry about the safety of their children but this is the only daycare that busses the kids to their school. This place needs a complete overhaul with staff and how they treat the children.
