We love Kiddie Academy of Harleysville. Our son graduated from this school last year and our daughter graduated this year. The staff and the administration are professional and friendly. They provided a nurturing, educational and socially inclusive environment for our children. We highly recommend Kiddie Academy of Harleysville without any reservations.

Like another poster below I wish I could give this place 0 stars. We started during covid and at the time my baby was about 4m old. They made NO efforts for me to be able to meet my sons teachers and who he would be with daily. His daily reports were consistently inaccurate. They stated he was given breastmilk (hes formula fed), finger foods(I never sent any in to be given). It made it extremely hard to trust them. I brought these issues up to a teacher in his room and she reassured me it wouldnt happen again. Yet it kept happening. My son would come home FILTHY daily. Yes, I understand babies and kids get dirty of course, but at least wipe them and clean them before sending them home. It just shows you kind of care a little bit. I had to rush my 5m old to the ER after I picked him up one day because I was never called or informed he was lethargic all day, slept all day and barely ate. Upon arrival his breathing was labored with a 103 fever. He tested positive for flu A. Sean has no business being a business owner and Im not entirely sure how he even got into this field. The director could not care less. They tell you what you want to hear and thats that. They also failed to inform parents an employee was arrested for child abuse. All parents found out via social media rather than from them. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Is the best, I love this place, the teachers and the curriculum are amazing
The owner, director and the teachers are approachable, attentive and care. My son always in a happy mood & excited when we arrive at the daycare, that shows that the staffs are super friendly, professional and educated. The facility is very clean.
I am very please with kiddie academy in harleysville. I highly recommend this daycare for parents who are considering new daycare for their kids.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Do not send your kids there. They do not engage well on a child or parent level at all.
We engaged this establishment when we wanted to finally send our 2 year old to day care for the first time. Everything seemed so wonderful. Had to take a virtual tour because of the times and were able to meet the teacher ahead of time. Everything was great, however, looks were very deceiving.
We dropped our child off for her first day. We knew it was going to be difficult for her because it was the first time away from the ones she knows and loves. We expected to see that.
Here were the problems. Upon first day we were not given all the information and signup information for the apps they use and they belittled us like we should have known how to use them ahead of time. My daughter cried and was upset for a little over an hour. Again, to be expected. She was never happy or settled the whole morning. They provide a camera to check in on your child which is awesome to see them. But then you get to see what is going on as well.
We never saw a teacher or administrator help our child become acclimated. Typically someone would get on the child's level so they could look eye to eye. What happened was she sat in a chair by herself all morning. The one time a teacher went over to her she handed her the picture book we put together for her to see her loved ones. Did the teacher open it and engage. No! The placed the book down in front of her and walked away. Again we can see this all through their camera system.
We saw the blonde haired teacher sitting on a table not even in a chair next to our daughter to help out. Even saw her on her phone instead of tending to the children. They only had 6 kids including our daughter that day so it is not like they were overwhelmed. We get they cannot spend the whole time with her but they should be able to assist her instead of leaving her sit by herself for hours.
But wait, it gets better. It took them until after 12 pm to change our child's diaper for the first time. It even says so in the report they sent us at the end of the day. It took them over 4 hours for them to check her diaper! We watched as they provided her lunch and they didn't try to help her eat they just kind of left it there.
At the end of the day they sent us a report advising that our kid engaged in all of these types of activities throughout the day and she napped well from 1-3pm. Hmmmm, we picked our child up at 1230 and we could see her sitting in the chair or standing by the door all morning. Please advise how she engaged?
My wife engaged the owner on the second day and he wanted nothing to do with her and told her would call her to discuss her concerns instead of trying to address them. Never apologized for the horrible experience or any sentiments. The director, which we spoke to over the phone multiple times, was there at drop off as well. She saw my wife when she got out of the car and ran inside to afraid to confront us to discuss the prior days activities.
Long story short, do no send your children here. They do not value you and they consider you just a number. The owner does not want to accept any accountability. The transition should have been smoother than it was. I have spoken to multiple individuals who have or do work in field and this is completely unacceptable on all fronts.
