image Have called 2 times so far and 1st time sat on hold 6 minutes, thought I had the wrong number and hung up. Trying to report an outage, found out it was the right number and called back. Have been on hold over 10 minutes so far and no answer. I would hate to think if water was pouring out of the ground. This is crazy and bad service!

image Water authority dug up my yard to connect the neighbors water and left my yard with a minimum of one thousand dollars damage and mess. Please repair the property damage immediately. After a few phone calls and some time on hold, I was finally able to leave a voice request when the repair would be completed. I got no reply, but the damage was somewhat repair.

image I had an issue with my sewer bill, I understand that, but they turned off our water without letting us know. Somebody was home and somebody else was in the driveway. They parked in front of our neighbors' house so that we didn't know they were at our house and turned off the water and "ran". When I called them, they couldn't be bothered to help because it was a sewer company problem. We had to wait until the next day to get in touch with the sewer company (because they were closed by then -4pm) and then we got double charged to have the water turned back on the next day! The sewer co charged us saying that the water company charges them to turn it off and on. Then when I called MAWC, they were charging us $50 too. So we had to pay an extra $150 to have the water turned back on all because MAWC wanted to send somebody out (in secret) to turn the water off and on at the end of the day. Before a holiday weekend too. The representative on the phone just kept repeating her script and couldn't answer my questions. Then the serviceman was supposed to let us know BEFORE turning the water back on. He didn't. He turned it on, then knocked on the door saying that he did so. I wanted to know so that we could check our faucets, etc when he turned it on, but no warning. They don't have people trained very well at all. Poor customer service and poor business practices!

image Would give no stars. Turned off my water for 1 payment of $75 being 2 weeks late. Said they sent shut off notice to old address so I didn't get it. $225 to get it turned back on. $75 payment due, $50 turn on fee & $100 deposit even though I have had the service for 1 year. Wish I had other options! When service came to turn on water, knocked once & rang bell once, and before I could get there (I am disabled), she was already in van to leave WITHOUT TURNING WATER ON even though turn on was outside & no need to enter house or for my involvement. They know we have no options & totalled take advantage of customers!
