Best location!
View of the Battlefield, less than 10 minute walk to practically everything, great restaurants, meeting locations of most history and ghost tours and museums.
Rooms: Clean, theme fits traditional feel of city.
Nearby activities: Close to most attracrions and tour meeting locations.
Walkability: No more than 15mins to everything, sidewalks and signage are clear.

Hanna checked us in. Very friendly and informative of things to do. The pool was great. Kristy checked us out. She was awesome

Unfortunately, we were only here for one night because we didn't realize beforehand what a great and interesting little town Gettysburg is.
We felt very comfortable in this hotel, everyone was super friendly, from reception to the nice lady in the breakfast cottage. Everything was very comfortably furnished, certainly a bit old, but clean. The parking lot was right in front of the room. A highlight was the great pool on site, which was great for cooling off in the summer. There was also an indoor pool, but we didn't use it.
Breakfast was served in a small, separate house, the Breakfast Cottage. It was quite simple and American, but with a lot of charm and the waffles with salted butter and syrup were very tasty.
There was also a snack and drinks vending machine available at all times.
We would like to come back at any time and even for a longer period of time.
Rooms: A little old, but clean and enough space. The sink outside the toilet/shower was great, so everyone was finished a little quicker
Walkability: Great location for exploring the small town.
Food & drinks: Simple and American breakfast with a lot of charm.
Noteworthy details: You should definitely stay longer than 1 night in Gettysburg, there is so much to see and so much to do, which unfortunately we weren't aware of. Gettysburg is a magical, magical town with lots of fireflies in the summer.
