The manager/attorney who did my PFA actually negotiated a 3 yr PFA down to a 3 month to which I declined immediately. After re-negotiating, she came back with 18 months, however, this time she had a message from my abuser. Thats right, she actually sold her soul to the devil in order to make the deal and gave him the control right to the bitter end. She did this in front of the others who where waiting in the same room for their PFA. How degrading and Im sure they too were concerned about getting a relayed message too. The next day, I thank her and the advocates via email. With the attorney, I wanted to see if she would respond back, like the advocates did. Exactly how I expected, with nothing. It confirmed that she too was fooled by his charm. So, in the end, I got my PFA but she took away the little validation I was hoping to get. This is JUST a paycheck for her and nothing else. Just not a pleasant experience. I would have rather had my day in court and expose him for the awful human being that he is.
