If youre looking at TBI for an education, go elsewhere. They will railroad you and attempt to pull the wool over your eyes regarding your hours, your attendance, and your tuition. They will also violate the Board of Cosmetologys statutes regarding academic records keeping, as well as federal education law. Administration is almost inaccessible when needed, they promise assistance with job placement which is untrue, and I have even witnessed incidents of forgery by administrative staff that was admitted to via email. Not to mention the filth that they call restrooms. Frequently out of toilet paper/paper towels, and is constantly in a state of unsanitary conditions. And I mean literal feces on the floors and walls that I documented the length of my schooling there. The best part of this school was the esthetics instructor, Sally. If I could have hired her separately for an apprenticeship, I would have gone that route.
