I came across this store and was obsessed because I love everything western. So it was very disappointing how my experience with Dixies went. I special ordered a pair of jeans from here as finding my size is always a struggle, and was initially told they would arrive around 2 weeks which worked perfectly for me in needing them for a couple of events. Two weeks, nothing. Three weeks, oh still nothing but I understand delays as I also run a business so its not a biggie. ONE MONTH I call the shop and the worker says to me, I placed the order yesterday. So they hadnt placed the order until I called a month later, I doubt he had placed it yesterday but yesterday sounds better than I forgot to place your order. It is now a month and a half later still no pants. I call and ask for tracking info and apparently they have no way of tracking the order which is completely false. You can always track an order, unless you havent actually ordered it. I also run a business and know this is no way to run one. Again, cute store, but terrible service.

We should never have told you that the order would take two weeks because we have no way of knowing how long it will take the manufacturer to get it to us. It is our fault for setting that expectation. We should have clarified with you, especially if you needed them for a specific event. We do our best to carry a wide range of sizes and help customers like yourself who might need help finding their size. When we don’t have that size in stock, we offer to special order it for customers at no extra cost to them, even though we incur the cost of shipping it to our store and to the customer. We place special orders as quickly and efficiently as possible, and in most cases, we will group several orders together to help with freight costs. In this particular case, the order was placed with the manufacturer exactly two weeks after your deposit was received once the item was back in stock, along with other sizes that also needed to be special ordered. At this point, we have still not received that order, and we genuinely do not have a way to give customers an update on it because if it has not been sent, there is still no tracking number for it. Regardless of why it is taking so long for that order to arrive, we are truly sorry that we did not do a better job communicating with you about your order status. We hope you will give us another opportunity to earn your business.
