        Sad that they've closed and I hope they find a new home soon. This might have been the best sushi place in Portland.

        Sushi Takahashi 2 has been my family's go to "conveyor belt" style sushi joint for years now. It's convenient to our kids' school, and they love the model train that carries the sushi plates around the bar. Sadly, their lease is not being renewed, and they will be closing at the end of December while they search for a new location. The fish is always fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere is welcoming. We'll miss today location, but will return when they do. Also, they'll be open Saturdays and Sundays during December, so go while you still can.
