Customer service was HORRIBLE. When I called to make a reservation it took FOREVER just to get someone on the phone. I ask the guy if I just only need my ID and debit card to pick up the rental and he told me yes and a $100 deposit, Prefect. Good to hear, so the day I am picking up the rental it was completely opposite of what what guy said on the phone. So not only did I wait 45 minutes to be attended, the agent was very UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. The agent was also very short with all of his answers, and the way he was talking to me was degrading as a person and as me especially as a female. I felt that the way he was speaking to me was uncourtous and rude. I also asked the agent for the number to customer service, in which he replied you may Google that. So after reaching customer service they also did not provide me with any answers regarding my issue. I then When I ask to speak to a manager she told me there was not a repeadtley asked the car agent to speak with manager. I was told no manager or supervisor was able that day, and one would not be available till the following day after 2pm. I've rented vechicles from other companies before and have I never experienced the type of service that I experienced with Avis. I wanted to give this company a try after hearing positive reviews from friends and family, but after this experience I will notbe giving this company any of my future buisness. Also since Avis and budget is parented under and same company I will not be returning back as a customer to them as well.
