Before coming to Liz, I had had acne for more than 12 years. It wouldn't come and go, it simply stayed. I tried a variety of things to get rid of it, notably lasers and accutane. And while these things would help temporarily, none of these approaches had any lasting effect.
Liz really did change that. Working with her was a pleasure; her knowledge of the many forms of acne and the methods of treatment synergized perfectly with her hands on skill during the in-office treatment portion of the work. While I definitely came out looking a little beaten up, it was absolutely worth it. My face always felt cleaner and always looked better. It took time and patience (and after 12 years I can wait a little longer) but even a few weeks later I could tell that it was improving, a little bit. But over time, my acne kept getting better and better. The treatments worked, the products worked (I'm using face reality), and over time my skin only got better. And today I look infinitely better. Liz helped me overcome my acne, a problem that had truly made my everyday life more painful than it should have been.
So that's my story.
About Liz, she's amazing. Her knowledge and technical skills absolutely impressed me, part of the reason I'm still a client 3 years later. She's also an amazing and hard working friend, who really gets to know you through the course of your treatment. And that's just as valuable as having nicer skin; making a good friend. She also keeps up with new technologies and trends in the skin care science. I had the privilege of being one of her guinea pigs for her new microneedling face resurfacing tool, which is a fairly recent development. The thing is pretty darn good at what it does, I actually did notice a fairly quick improvement in my skin quality, especially at points where I had acne in the past. It's for treatment of scars, mind, not new acne.
And with Michiko in the office, Liz has a nice balance to her approach. Those two have a great common knowledge, but differ in their approaches to client treatment. Michiko is definitely an excellent addition to the office.
My final word: if you have acne and you don't feel basic approaches are working, go to Liz. She knows what she's doing, and she will make your skin better. It's really, really worth.
