The team at Distinctive Painting are truly exceptional. I hired them to paint my house as well as refinish my doors. They took their time on my house with great attention to detail. They even fixed little things here and there without me having to ask for it. Everyone on the crew was very neat, professional, and friendly and made sure I was happy with all aspects of the job. I own a 1894 Victorian in North Portland. When I purchased it three years ago, I knew one of my first "homeowner" tasks was to repaint the exterior. Because it is a Victorian, there many combination of color schemes to choose from. I had an idea of the color palette I wanted to explore but nothing definitive. A friend of mind recommended Distinctive Painting and it couldn't have been a better fit. Not only did I need an incredible paint job but I also needed a color consultation. After we decided on colors (dark green, light green, orange, gold and purple - I know - wow!), it was time to begin. After 1 day of prep, 3 days of painting and 1 day of clean up / follow up, I had the exterior paint job I'd been hoping for. From start to finish, Distinctive Painting went above and beyond expectation, including providing a competitive quote, walking me through the timeline of completion, helping me select colors, doing all prep work, all finish work and following up with to make sure I am a happy customer. I couldn't be more happy.
