Taco Del Mar

Had heard great things about this place thought we would give it a try. Sadly disappointing. The food was ok. Nothing great. But what killed it was the Chips the gave us very very stale . Tried them after our meal i hope nothing else was old. Now worried I will be spending the night being sick !!!!!

I have been to this restaurant many times before, and had no problems, but they appear to be under new management. The woman there today seemed to be certifiable. Went in for fish tacos (which is their specialty and the special of the day), she babbled about the oven being broken and "no fish in the sea". When I ordered a chicken taco salad instead, she made me a tostada bowl of mostly beans and rice, about a teaspoon of lettuce at the bottom, and some liquid-y chicken on top. Gross. She also tried to charge me an insane price for a bottled water, justifying this by babbling more about the price of water and, you know, "Portland pees in the water and fluoride and stuff". What? After I complained about the lack of salad in my salad and she started to scoop me a giant plate of just lettuce, I left without my food and without my money. Won't ever eat there again.
