I had an horrible experience here with a Dr, and the way that management decided to not call me back as requested, left a sour taste in my mouth. I forgot that Doctors are for profit businesses, and at the end of the day it’s really more about money than making your patients feel comfortable and cared for. Since that’s the case I would really recommend going else were when it comes to your derrière!

The receptionist was the epitome of incompetence. She misspelled my name, did not give me any information as to why there was a copay (my insurance has no copay), and they lost my paperwork moments after I gave it to them, so I had to redo that. The doctor (Jeffrey Manchio) was very informative and helpful, so I have no complaints in his performance. The bill was a a bit over $500, which is a lot, but my insurance lowered it by half. In the end, it cost me an arm and a leg, just like any other doctor.

I have always been in fairly good health and although I have been a nurse for over 20 years and had the good fortune of very rarely being the patient, that changed 16 months ago. I met Dr. Portiz when in extreme pain and was set up for surgery the next day. I have had a total of 3 surgeries in the past 16 months, all with Dr. Poritz. This has been a long, painful process and the one thing that made it bearable; was the fact I had complete confidence in my surgeon. Dr. Portiz was outstanding in her care and treatment of my condition. She took the time to explain everything, i never felt rushed and was given the reality of my situation and reassurances I needed of my condition. I am very grateful for the care I received and could not recommend her more!
