image My child is working with a wonderful therapist, Kris Cartwright, who's helping them deal with a very difficult situation. Not only has she helped them process their trauma so that they can express their emotions in a healthy way, but she and Gail have advocated for their needs and have shown to be true child advocates, something that's rare to find in this field. Her work has made it possible for my child to heal from trauma that would otherwise haunt them for the rest of their life. If you have a child suffering who needs professional help, this clinic will actually address the damage done due to emotional neglect and abuse by the covert type of caregivers that are not held responsible for the harm they've caused. We need more practitioners like this in our world today as sadly, this problem continues to be on the rise. As a teacher and survivor of childhood trauma myself, I see children in this sort of situation everywhere, and the therapists at this clinic are actually doing something about it when other practitioners are unwilling or incapable of doing so. This clinic is part of the solution to the epidemic of generational trauma that plagues our world today and it's for this reason that I can't recommend them highly enough. One a side note, if you'd like to understand what kind of trauma a child is experiencing and whether or not they need the specialized therapy the Path Center offers, check out Pete Walker's Book, Complex PTSD, From Surviving to Thriving. It'll walk you through the kind of survival mechanisms you see in children who have attachment disorders due to generational trauma or as a result of prolonged abuse and neglect from caregivers with personality disorders. If you suspect your child is suffering from complex PTSD the therapy done here is designed to treat it so your child can get the kind of effective treatment they need and deserve. If you're on the fence about getting therapy for them, don't hesitate to get them started here. I can assure you that this is a place that you can trust to actually help your child heal which they deserve, as do you, wonderful parent or caregiver, for their hurt is your hurt. You reading this attests to the fact that you're on the right track to help them get what they need and I applaud you for that. :)

image Life changing place. Gail is the best. Ladies at the front are beyond nice. If you have trauma go here. Nothing has worked for me, but neurofeedback and LENS have. No more traumatic nightmares or anxiety or panic attacks.

image This place is amazing! I've got a ton of unresolved childhood trauma and I'm just blown away by the compassion I've been shown by the PATH Center staff on my journey toward freedom from my trauma. My therapist, Danae, has been such a great listener and supporter and has adapted seamlessly to my particular needs. But also, every interaction I've had with the office staff has been amazing. They truly provide a safe space for you to begin your journey toward healing. Discovering this place is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.

image I would be impressed with the past few reviews left here if it wasn't so painfully obvious that the owner felt the need to keep up appearances and repair her bruised ego after a scathing review was left by a dissatisfied client . That's not to say that the clinic and staff are not wonderful compassionate people who provide a service to help those in need of healing. Kinda speaks volumes to one of many flaws in the health care system in regard to those who attempt to advocate for themselves only to be silenced and discredited as "sad" or "angry."
    *****update-
Please refer to the review left by Eileen M. as it appears she is the dissatisfied client.
    Thank you !! I understand !!

image I have been going to Portland Neurofeedback for 4 years now! What a life changing, lifesaving experience for me! I had been to countless counseling sessions for drug and alcohol, anxiety, childhood trama. This treatment takes you too a whole different level. The expert staff is unbelievably caring and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I highly recommend anyone to try PNF that is serious about working towards a better life! Forever thankful to Gail, Ashley and the team!
