I had a severe deviated septum obstructing air in my right nostril. Dr Wang patiently explained my left nostril was collapsing when I inhaled through my nose. I had large turbinates as well, reducing air flow in the upper region of my nose. Dr Wang repaired all of those issues perfectly. Since I was already undergoing surgery, I asked him to straighten my nose and refine the ball at the end. He also smoothed out a small bump in the middle. I consulted with several surgeons before deciding on Wang. He was the most knowledgeable and the most professional. I LOVE my new nose. I love the subtle changes. It looks perfect and not overdone. I love breathing normal. It has changed my life and I would want anyone I know to use Dr. Wang. There was so much work to do on my nose, even taking a part of my ear to reinforce my left nostril. Not even a hint of a scar. Even when filling my prescription, the pharmacists would heap praise on how talented he is and how they've had family fly cross country to be his patient. I couldn't be more thrilled with the results!!!!

I got exactly the results I was looking for. I initially teetered on the decision to go through with the procedure because plastic surgery in general is expensive and my nose was actually okay looking. The major flaws that bothered me about it were minor to anyone else. I had a nose that dipped down at the end when I smiled and a downward slope along the bridge. It was a Greek nose, for sure. When I went in for the consultation I had mostly decided to go through with it because my father, a facial reconstruction surgeon who is not allowed to work on a family member, not only trusted Dr. Wang with his little girl but recommended him highly. One of the biggest things that swayed me was that my father said something along the lines of "This guy stuck in my memory because I've been to several medical conferences where he was there and he just asked all the right questions and was up to date on so many of the procedures. He was impressive to listen to." Then, again, when I went in for the consultation Dr. Wang was very attentive and personable. When I explained an idea my father and I were bouncing around for how to reshape my nose Wang was quick to say that another procedure with minor adjustments would be more suited to my particular nose. His office staff are very accommodating, professional and super friendly. I was always greeted by name. So far if I was reading this review I might think it was staged, but honestly I'm just that impressed. I wish my other doctors were as good as he is. To give you an idea of the "difficulty" of my recovery stage, I ate at spaghetti factory in the parking lot next door 2 hours after they finished surgery by my own insistence against the advice of my mother. The person in the recovery room assigned to me was great too. That I barely remember, except being extremely thirsty. It was easy to clean and care for my nose the whole time and I stopped taking the painkillers after 4 days I think, switching to ibuprofen for about a week to keep swelling down. They also gave me this magical eye gel pack that was a godsend and I asked for another one and where to buy them for normal use. I got the cast thing off in about 10 days and by then I was ready to tear it off it itched so bad. In a month no one could tell I had surgery recently. In 5 months most of the numbness in the tip went away, and here I am 9 months later and I forget I had surgery sometimes. It looks so natural and like my old nose before it grew into the slope and downward tip to the point that when my brother was motioning to his nose asking if I had told my friend I thought he was talking about something else, believed I had something on my nose and tried to wipe it off. He kept motioning so I kept wiping for about 20 seconds until he said out loud “your nose”. My boyfriend who was unhappy I was getting the surgery admitted that I really did look better in a way he wasn't expecting and was pleasantly surprised. When people look at me now, they know something's different, but can't place it because instead of seeing my nose and saying “She had surgery,” they get captured by my eyes.
