Stay clear of Harwood. DO not have any dealings with this man. My experience is much of the same as eveyone else. He refused to do his job equally on both sides. I am inclined to believe his personal feelings regarding his own past relationship clouds his judgement and fuels his decisions (he mentioned twin (I believe) daughters and and a nasty divorce, which was really inappropriate, as I didn't even know this man). He admitted he refused to read documents and passed it off as, I thought I already did. Which was a lie.Judge didn't even care. This man also said I said things I NEVER said to him. He flat out lied in court. No way to prove it because it would be his word against mine and the pathetic Washington County court system goes with whatever he says. This is the point I lost ALL faith in the fairness of judges and courts, and so called, professionals. I,100%, feel Mark Harwood KNOWS what he does is wrong. He KNOWS who he is. I,100%, feel he knows his own past has, and will probably continue, to fuel his decisions on many cases. It's so unbelievably wrong. Kids are mentally effected by what this man does and he's allowed to continue doing it without any consequences. Too bad with the amount of similar complaints from many seperate people, on here and a few other places I read, everyone couldn't come together and file a formal group complaint with the state and call for an ethics investigation into Harwood's practice.This man should not be allowed any where near families. Also, if by chance you are unfortunate enough to have to deal with him, I HIGHLY suggest bringing someone with you to EVERY SINGLE meeting that sits with you and is a witness to every conversation you have with him and, also, video record EVERY SINGLE MEETING with him, as well as, video yourself speaking with him on the phone. Protect yourself at all costs. Record and have a witness of EVERY SINGLE interaction with him. I cannot express the importance of that. Protect EVERY single conversation around this guy. Better yet, if you can afford it, have your attny present during EVERY meeting with Harwood. That is your BEST protection against him. How sad is it that a person needs all these safeguards in place to deal with a "professional" when it comes to protecting themselves and the well being of their children. PS-Mind you, he isn't rude...he does all this damage with a smile on his face.

I was intimidated by the process in the beginning having never been through anything like this before. This evaluation helped my children and myself in such a way that I will be forever grateful, needless to say thank you to Mr. Harwood and his staff for helping my kids and I forward into our new journey.

This guy claims to have a PhD, he doesn't. He is utterly incompetent, only cares about getting your money; then after he does get your cash, will totally half ass his report. You have to hound him to get the report done. STAY AWAY

DO NOT USE MARK HARWOOD!!!!!!! YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He gave my drug addicted ex wife custody my kids in 2009. Turns out his kid is also a drug addict and he felt sympathy to drug addicts. Had custody of my kids since 2004. I was able to get custody back again in 2011. But now the damage has been done. My youngest child is now 15 and has attacked my wife, his grand parents and me. My son has been in intense counseling for about 2 years now. He will not talk about what happened at her house to counselors. Took my son to a psychiatrist; found out my ex has abused and neglected both my kids. I told Mark back in 2008 what she had done and he did not care! Said I was being spiteful towards her. Well, now my wife and I have to deal with Marks decision and my ex is in rehab and doesn't have to deal with any of what she has caused, I even called Mark in 2008 and yelled at him saying he f@&$ed my kids lives up by giving her custody. WELL I WAS RIGHT Mark. NEXT TIME DO YOUR JOB RIGHT MARK AND DONT TELL SOMEONE THEY GAVE YOU A PILITHRA OF DOCUMENTS. ITS YOUR JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to read ALLLLLL documents period!!!!!!!! IF YOUR NOT GOING TO DO JOB FIND A NEW ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Their is a lot more to this story but I would have to write a book.
