Here at Sleep Dentistry, we take great pride in creating the most comfortable and compassionate dental care experience possible – that’s the promise that’s kept us as a preferred dental treatment care provider for more than 4 decades. Since we do see so many wonderful people with dental anxiety, it’s important to us that we are thorough with handling expectations of all possible outcomes when receiving treatment. There is always a small risk that when any tooth structure is removed, for a crown for example, that about 5% of people will later require additional treatment for discomfort. Part of our duty as your healthcare provider is to inform you of all the risks and alternatives to your treatment, and we take this fiduciary responsibility very seriously. If you go to any practitioner who diagnoses treatment, but they fail to fully explain the benefits and RISKS, they are doing you a massive disservice and you should look elsewhere for a provider who has your best interest in mind.
