Powell Boulevard Dental

I have been coming to this clinic for decades - since I was 10 or 11 years old. They have always been excellent. The staff is friendly and professional, their service is efficient and organized, and the dentist, Dr. Denise Walthour, DMD really knows her stuff. She's given me many fillings (too many, but that's my fault, not hers), done an extraction, given me a crown, and a nightguard, not to mention regular cleanings two or three times a year for the last 8 years, as well as 9 years in my youth. She has always ensured that the procedures were as painless and comfortable as is possible. They always give you headphones and cable tv to watch to distract you from whatever they happen to be doing to your teeth. They are skilled at hand-holding for people (like me) who are freaked out by dental procedures. Walt, the front desk manager/nerve center of the clinic, is professional, organized and also funny - he always makes me laugh. If you're like me and need a lot of dental care due to bad choices and past poor dental hygiene habits (embarrassing, but they don't guilt-trip - they are solution oriented), or are just looking for a good dentist in the area, I recommend this clinic.

Staff is great they were very friendly in making sure that I was well taken care of for my first visit. I needed my crown grinded down properlyFrom a crown that was filled by a dentist in LA and she was very thorough in trying to get to the problem which was causing discomfort when I chewed on food.

I was very nervous to see a dentist because Ive had some terrible experiences in the past but every person on staff there was kind, caring, and compassionate. I really appreciated the time they took to make sure I was comfortable.
