Dr. Atack was my doctor as a teenager (I’m now 32) when I lived in Portland, and I thought of him today when my husband said that dentists have always been painful for him. I told him what Dr. Atack told me, like 20 years ago - if it’s painful, they’re not doing it right. :) He is solely responsible for my lack of fear of dentists (and all the hygienists who held my hand as I whimpered during fillings but wasn’t actually in pain haha) and I wanted to pop back and say thank you - I didn’t realize what an asset this was and I don’t think I appreciated how good he was - and I’m sure still is. He also imprinted on my stubborn teenage self that the more I take care of my teeth everyday, the less I’ll have to pay to “fix” them later - and he’s right! I haven’t had a cavity in almost 10 years! Anyway, thank you for all you do! ~Kelsey Betzelberger

Dr. Atack has been my family's dentist for over 7 years. I have lived in four states and visited many dentists, he is by far the best dentist we have ever had. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Atack and his amazing staff.

Disclaimer: Dr. Atack is my neighbor and I've known him for over 10 years. Dr. Atack's conservative approach to dentistry is refreshing in an era where some practitioners are incentivized to lobby for treatment before it's really necessary. Every procedure has costs associated with it, and he considers those carefully when making recommendations. I am pleased that I switched to his care, and I encourage anyone considering a family dentist to consult with him.

Dr. Atack is an amazing human & dentist! He is spoken very highly about in the dental community, and by his patients. Absolutely recommend him for anyone seeking a new general dentist or any dentistry care.
