Dr. Duane T. Starr, DMD

I have been a patient of Dr. Starr's for 15+ years, maybe twenty. I cannot recommend him enough! He is a genius in the lost art of gold work, and focuses on care and comfort of his patients. I _choose_ to have gold work done and feel no pressure by him to make that choice. His work is now world renowned as I am living in Ireland and have established a new local doctor for any future, though unlikely needed, work. My new doctor did a new patient examination and repetitively commented on the craftsmanship of the work. Dr. Starr and his staff are meticulous in their attention to detail in prep and follow up work. A recent example is having an old filling replacement done, with gold, in about a week because I flew into Portland, had the prep done, and completed it by the end of the week to fly back home to Ireland. Dr. Starr is one of the most respectful, gentle and talented dentists I have had the pleasure of using for crowns and implants. I highly recommend him and will spend the three hours on the road to continue his services.

I've had SUBSTANTIAL work done by Dr. Starr. Everything about the experience has been outstanding. I am more than an hour's drive away, but I'll keep going to him, and I have referred others to him as well. He, and his staff are highly professional, and they care. A lot.
