Sharpform IT charged us over $450 in labor fees to install one phone (this does not include the cost of the phone). I expected the install to take a reasonable amount of time, an hour at the most. Instead, the technician took 3.25 hours. During this time, I had to relinquish my desk to the technician so they could work on my phone. They were not prepared with their own equipment, but had to use my computer to research how to do their job. Not only that, but the technician was on the phone with their supervisor almost the entire time getting instructed on how to do the phone install. I lost 3.25 hours of work that day because I could not use my computer. I think it is unfair that we should pay for your technician's training. We expect the person to show up to know how to do their job, or at least have two people come to do onsite training. It has now been 7 days since I expressed my frustrations at the charges, asked for an explanation, and requested documentation about the work performed. I have yet to receive an apology from Sharpform for the entire situation, but I am open to reconsideration should this matter be resolved to my satisfaction very shortly. This isn't the first time they have billed outrageously high, been slow to order equipment (I actually had to call and remind them I ordered a phone once!), and take forever to install. In short, I would not recommend them.
