Purchased a new couch and love seat on Memorial Day weekend. It was busy, but Tonya was able to handle it. We shopped all over town, they had the best price on really nice furniture. The personal service was great. It took 10 days to get it from Seattle (3 hours away), but everything else was perfect and we love our furniture. Thanks Tonya!

My wife and I are expecting our first child, so before we got the nursery together we really wanted to replace our carpeting in the whole house. We really wanted carpet that was soft and could also hold up well under ware and tear from a growing child. I'm a man who likes a deal, so naturally I wanted to shop around a bit. We looked at Paulson's ($$$$) beautiful products,  but way out of budget. We looked at Marion's($$$) they had some deals on their clearance carpets, but we found the quality to be lacking. We checked out Home Depot($$-$$$) they had some reasonable prices, but they got you on the install. We went home thinking Depot was going to be our best bet, even though the carpet wasn't name brand. That night I did a search on Craigslist and that's when we came across Zakour's($$), never heard of them and only 1 review on Yelp but Google had some positive reviews on their furniture side of their business. We live on the Westside of Portland and it was a bit of a drive, but it was totally worth it! We met Harvey, who I believe is the owner, he is the nicest man and I really liked how I didn't get the whole used car salesman vibe. We told him what we were looking for and he made some suggestions with no pressure at all. The carpet my wife really liked was made by Mohawk which is a well known manufacturer of quality carpets,  so I was nervous to ask what the price was. When I finally got around to asking the price of the carpet I had to ask twice cause the price was nearly half the cost of the others and it came with pad, tear out,  and install. If something sounds to good to be ture, typically it is. We'll my wife said she felt a good vibe from Harvey so we scheduled a measurement for square footage. Harvey literally came over right after we left his business. Most of the house has wood floors, but he measured 960 sqft that needed to be carpeted and he gave us a quote then and there. We agreed half the money then and the other half after the install. He had to order the carpet and it only took a week to arrive,  Harvey was really good about giving us phone calls to keep us updated on the install. I wasn't able to be home during the install,  but my wife's Grandmother was there. She is the type of lady who has high expectations and is not afraid to give her opinions too, so she can be pretty critical. I was shocked when she said she was absolutely delighted with the installers. She said they were very clean and didn't cut any corners. If I know her, she probably hovered over the guys all day. Not only am I impressed with the quality, cost, customer service, but I am impressed that they impressed my Grandmother in law!
