Will only sell you a computer fan if they install. Just after a service charge for the repair. It's a fan not a mainboard.

Terrible. I purchased a shredder that was "on sale", for $49. They gave the $10 discount (now price is $39), to me in the form of a Visa rebate card, that I could use wherever, for whatever. When I tried to use it at 3 Newport stores, it coming up as no funds. When I called the rebate support, they told me to go back to those stores & tell them "they don't know how to do their job". Really? So I ended up buying some items from staples to use up the card. Had to return them a few days later, because it didn't fit notebook. They would not give me the $10 in cash, would only give me a card that could only be used in their store. They wanted me to sign a form, I would not. The manager that was on duty, was the worst person ever to deal with. Said "if I didn't sign", it would be fraud. Really Mr. Manager? I think it was fraud with Switch & bate on your part, when you sold that item. I will NEVER buy anything from Staples again, & make sure all my friends do the same. Buyer Beware @ Staples.

The staff really isn't interested in customer service at all. They make you wait at the cash register for 15 to 20 minutes while they roam around the store fixing the items on the isle. They don't know how to prioritize. When you are standing at the cash register waiting to give them $100 for the product you are buying. Hey do you want to make a sale or not. I bought a huge box of packing boxes that was really heavy. I am a senior and the sales clerk, about 24 years old and built like a wrestler made me lift it on to the counter so he could scan it. Did not offer to get a clerk to help me get it to my car. The manager woman is helpful but obviously doesn't get the support from HQ she needs.

I went here about a month ago after the release of the Motorola Xoom WiFi Model. I have been weighing options of tablets for quite some time and with much research I decided to get a Xoom. When I went to the section of the store that had it on display, a young man with facial hair walked up and offered his assistance. I told him I was there to check out the new Xoom, and that I was thinking of buying one soon. What happened afterward baffled me, beyond all logic. This employee went on and on on how Android is not ready for the limelight yet, and that the iPad is far superior. Not only was he incorrect on many attributes that he claimed made Honeycomb a poor OS, he stated that he really loved all things Apple, and unfortunately they did not carry any of the Apple products there. I let him him know that I owned both the iPhone and an Android phone in the past and that i liked the fact that Android lets you run Flash , where as iOS does not. His reply is that Flash will not be around much longer. I find it hilarious that their employee actively made it a point to not sell me the tablet that I wanted, and I will gladly oblige them by buying it on Amazon. I come from a long line of retail and electronics sales (Good Guys Electronics) and that is no way to operate a business, by talking someone out of the very thing they wanted to buy, especially when it comes to a luxury item. I will never shop at Staples again, and they can press that little "That was easy" button all the way to Bankruptcy...
