image I have written about this place for four years. Recap I lived at one Jefferson, and I was laughed at no one would fix anything in my apartmen, but the worst was everyone seemed to turn around and snicker about what I was saying. So I moved. Kruse way commons is totally different. I have a hard time finding any friend but here people wave at me, the staff to literal care of me when my dog died and I would never say thank u enough. No one laughs any more and the value me as a resident ( thats corny). Yes we have construction but in all honesty if someone claims that they are too loud its really not that loud. I have lived here 4 years and expect to live here long enough to then move 2 blocks away into an independent living place. Im not old enough now but in just 16 years the move would be short. LOL

image During the tour we were told the apartments were brand new, built within the last 3 years. A 1 year lease was signed and we were forced to agree to a sight unseen and acceptance of the apartment in the current condition. Since we were told the apartments were new, we assumed this would be fine.
The day we got the keys and moved in, the apartment was in very poor condition. There was visible water damage, black mold, broken blinds, the kitchen faucet was not attached, 3 closet doors were completely broken, and there were ants. The carpeted bedrooms had such cheap, thin carpet the tacks stuck out of the carpet and damaged your feet when you walked on it. After reporting this to the office (the same day we got the keys) they were reluctant to help. After complaining for a few days, they finally sent maintenance in to make some repairs.
During the entire year we rented from them, it was difficult to try and get help for the repairs to the point where we had to go to home depot to buy the items for us to make the repairs ourselves.
We also received harassment from the maintenance staff. Several times we were watched by them and had to close the blinds just to live life. It even got bad enough they were breaking into our apartment when we were not home. When talking to the office, we were informed there was a lockbox for the keys that was time sensitive and that this couldn't happen. LO police confirmed that someone from the complex broke in.
After moving out, the apartment had hidden fees they didn't tell us about. Before moving in, we were informed the deposit is fully refundable. We are not getting our deposit back because of all the hidden fees. It sucks because we left the apartment in better condition than what it was when we moved in.
Think twice before moving here.
