My family has spent the entire summer here now and might possibly be extending for the second time. I have waited to provide my review on this RV park until now. Honestly, I almost don't want to provide my opinion because I would much rather keep this place all to myself and never share with anyone! This small community is absolutely amazing and every local I encountered has been amazing and have impacted our family deeply. They all deserve to know how amazing they all are.
Oceanside RV Park:
1. The cell service, wifi, tv here and the entire town is a hit and miss...welcome to mother nature!...... however, your supposed to be on vacation so why do you really need any of it in the first place. If I had a question or needed to find something I would just take a short walk or send my 10 yr old daughter to the wonderful manager, Linda and she was full of all the information you could ever need. Which to my surprise my daughter ended up being Linda's little assistant for all new guests with all kinds of town information! Way to keep busy I guess I'm sure it gave Linda a break from it hahahaha!
2. It gets WINDY here! Every piece of information about Gold Beach tells you that......they aren't lying! This particular park is the point where they get forces from the ocean and the Rouge River so yeah it can get really windy but not all the time. Watch the weather and plan your BBQ's to the wind. Learn to adapt to it like we did or don't bother coming to Gold Beach. Friendly suggestion......put laundry inside bags before putting it in your laundry basket or you will loose clothing as you walk.....by the time you get back to your trailer you might have an empty basket and never know it! Hahahaha....not us but we almost had some pieces go flying. We saw some people have it happen to them.....we giggled.....
3. The property is clean, you have access to all hookups, water pressure is nice, it's quiet here. The laundry room was clean but you have to wait your turn sometimes to do laundry....but again.....duh! All laundry rooms are like that. I never used the public bathrooms but they were always open. There is a building you can go sit in that has tables and it's mostly glass so it's got a view and you can bbq too.
4. The office has some supplies that you might need. Ice cream was a huge deal! Tons of pamphlets and information about Gold Beach. Linda is the main manager there. I personally adore her the most. She's pretty cut and dry kinda woman. Tell her what you need or want and she's on it. She has an amazing smile that can make your worst day feel a tiny bit better. I doubt she knows that. Her laugh is vibrant and once you get past the shell she's really awesome! Some days she's stressed so she appears mean or some say rude but.....try doing her job and see if it's all rainbows and butterflies! Are you always chirpy? Our fun was to find her around town and wave to get her to smile! Always made our day to make her smile. Her husband who works the park is always so happy go lucky! Cracks jokes and is just as awesome!
Absolutely no complaints about the park at all.
There is way more positive I can say about this park and town but this is long enough. Our family highly recommends this park.
