Posting this for a relative, who is a client of this company: When an unscrupulous contractor left me with a structurally deficient patio roof that had to be ripped down and replaced, I decided to take legal action against him. But the contractor was nowhere to be found. After weeks of failed attempts, it looked very much like I would be out the money for the deficient roof AND the cost of its replacement. That's when an Oregon City attorney recommended hiring PI Services LLC of Beaverton. PI Services did background checks on the AWOL contractor and made every possible effort to locate him to serve the legal papers. When it finally became clear that the builder was no longer in the metro area and possibly even the country, PI Services prepared the necessary documentation to move my case forward. Several years ago I was awarded a judgment of $10,000 in a small claims case, and while I was naturally thrilled with the judgment I hadn't the first clue how to collect what I was owed. I knew I could garnish the debtor's wages, but had no idea how to go about it. Thankfully I came across P.I. Services who were able to help me every step of the way, from preparing the required legal documents to serving them to the debtor's employer and answering all my questions along the way.
