Celebrated the big 80 there with family. We had a great time. The food was sooo good, fresh, tasty, that several ( I won't mention who) went back several times! Of course, I was not one of them!

My husband and sister went to the Corvsllis Izzys at 3:10 PM . The menu says lunch prices until 3:30. When we went in the waitress told us to have a seat. About5 min. later she came and took our order for 3 senior buffets. Approx. 3:15 we are most of the food was like warm. So after 3: 30 we seen the grill was opened so we ordered steaks for my husband. When we were finished eating the waitress laid the bill upside down on the table with 3 mints. We finished our drinks and went to pay and found we had two register receipts with different times on them one was our 3: 15 lunch prices on top of it was another receipt with dinner prices a difference of $15 . The new waiter coming on shift at the time and said we had to pay dinner prices well when did you come in. We told him at 3:10 He said that was lunch prices. So he talked to the waitress and she said we had to pay more because he had the steaks off dinner menu. No where was this stated or presented to us. I feel I was ripped off for $15 and will never go back. I have been a long time customer as I grew up in Corvallis. I will be sure and inform as many people as possible about your restaurant ripping us off for$15 and changing the receipt. I do not plan on ever returning to this unfair and unlawful practice of changing the receipt and adding $15 to the bill without notifying the customer. This is thievery if I ever saw it. Totally unacceptable. I told them to ring up the bill so I could leave I am not about to argue in a restaurant and be humiliated in front of my family and other customers. Former customers.
