Will never use enterprise again. We have been using Enterprise for a couple of trips a year for the past 4 years. We moved about an hour away (closer to Tulsa) but since we had always had good experiences in the past we decided to go out of the way to continue using this specific location. We have never had issues in the past obviously, since we went out of the way to come here. Well not after this trip. The only difference that we could tell was that the clerks (Tori & Camden) were aware that I was disabled, and I believe they purposely used that against me. I didn’t think this originally, but once talking to some of my other friends- who happen to also be disabled, they brought up some of these points. Since the parking lot is small we don’t usually use my placard or the disability spot. We did this time. When checking in it was clear that we parked in that spot, I have an invisible illness, and I received some looks when entering. This is where issues began. First was needing the driver to be the credit card holder. This has never been a policy enforced before. In fact, I’ve used my mother’s card while she was not present before with zero issues. Well, only I have credit card (my last name is still my maiden name, and I did not choose to change it). I do not typically drive due to my disability. My husband stated this, which received another face. They then needed PROOF of my marriage to my husband, even though my drivers license matched my ID. (This completely disregards common law marriages and their rights, while we are officially married, this question should never be asked in the state of Oklahoma. “Common law marriage is a recognized form of marriage and is equally valid in Oklahoma as a ceremonial marriage.”) Even after they had proof of this, they STILL traded the driver to my husband and we had to add him as a driver. We finally were able to get out of the store after over an hour had passed and 5 other people who came in after us were helped. They asked us to wait as they helped others, before getting back to us. As we were leaving the parking lot, (I drove my car off, and my husband drove the rental) an unknown worker drove up in a car. (Tori& Camden had both gone out of the store to talk to this individual a few times, originally we thought to just get cars ready.. but now not so sure) My husband was in the middle of turning around, and the worker blocked both my husband and I in. The parking lot is very tiny, but had many open spaces. Instead of parking in an open spot, the man intentionally parked in the middle of both of us, so we had to drive incredibly dangerously to even get out. My husband rolled down the window and said “Hey! We are trying to get out of here” and the man literally shrugged, rolled his eyes, and went in. We got the rental car returned and the bill was more than $300 more after everything. (There were no scratches, the car was clean, and filled with gas.) I am so utterly shocked and hurt that any store would treat any human being this rudely, but being ableist so blatantly.. I am lucky that I am in a support group of other disabled people, where we typically share our experiences. They have mentioned Hurtz is typically accessibility friendly. I’m incredibly disappointed in the treatment we received, and only HOPE they do not treat other disabled people so cruelly.
Adding after OG post* they clearly did not read the post as they 1) sent generic message back 2) did not read that I am clearly a MRS. not Ms. Payne. IM MARRIED. The disrespect is unfathomable

It's not really the car company but my experience getting it all done for an accident I didn't cause and this was rented for me through the other guys insurance because of the accident. Man I'm calling it a day after this mess

Amazing on site Staff!!! Informative, attentive and kind unlike the phone services. Was able to upgrade to make the trip more enjoyable. Just wish they had a place to park my truck when I pick up my vehicle because I live to far away for them to pick me up.
