I would never use a hospice service that tells a mother not to allow a grandmother to say goodbye to their dying grandchild!!!!
No need to give your cruel agency a phone call with my concerns. I work in 7 counties and plan on telling all my clients including the elderly what you did!!!!!!!
You robbed a grandmother of her chance to say goodbye. You all are heartless!!!!!

It is never easy losing a loved one. Stein Hospice helped our family through a very difficult time. Everyone we encountered was professional and made a difference in our lives. We continue to support Stein Hospice in our own way as we want Stein to be able to provide to other families what they provided to us.

I was treated wonderful at first. I have cancer. Then someone did something they were not supposed to do and I got thrown out and laughed at. It was the most bizarre experience. No one should ever have to go through something like that especially when your sick. I wish they would have apologized and not made it and me a joke. Made me feel terrible.

Stein Hospice hands down is one of the most amazing places to interact and provide education and care for loved ones. Some people can even be discharged from Hospice if they show improvement.
I have worked in Emergency services and experience how they care for people on home visits and it is extraordinary. They are on the spot with caring for people with pain, and do not hesitate to call EMS when transports are required.
Their services are far reaching and being in hospice does not mean an ending. They provide care for pain ad issues that can be ongoing. They collaborate with teams from all around the counties to provide the best care available. Their nurses and staff are kind and helpful with any interactions. Their doctors are there when you need them.
Anyone who has anything bad to say about these dedicated and amazing people need to rethink themselves.
I would send any family member their, or myself, before any other hospice service in any other county.
Having to pick something like hospice is very difficult for any family, but coming from a professional and as a family member of family and friends that have used Stein, I say, do not hesitate. Their in-pt facility is top. Its peaceful, compassionate and pain free. What else is there?
