The room was was perfect. We luckily got a room located at the end so there wasnt much noise. The vending machine and amenities were easily accessible. The man who checked us in was very personable and helpful. The ladies who checked us out were also pleasant. The billing caused much confusion, but the issue was resolved. Liked the stay.

Very nice place to go stay if needed to get away or just take a vacation affordable and really pretty female that work mornings.. always nice and very respectful and clean. They do there jobs right and so I recommend going there..
Rooms: Clean nice
Nearby activities: Stores fast food goofy golf cedar point
Walkability: Restraunt stores gas station yes close by
Food & drinks: Yes pop and vending machine and breakfast waffles bagels oat meal 2 kinds of cereal. And milk and apple or orange juice. No to apple poop juice bring the orange back plz
Noteworthy details: Great people and clean hotel with no drama

UPDATE: The person who checked me in told me I had a handicap room. When I said something to the woman I talked to at checkout looked, I had been put into the room next to it. She told me if I had said something right away my room would have been switched. I do feel like I was blamed for believing the person who checked me in. So, I guess if your disabled look at that bathroom BEFORE you take one thing out of your car.
The rooms were exactly what I expected from a budget motel. The room was clean. The beds were reasonably comfortable. It would have been nice to have a coffee pot in the room though. I was given a coffee pot when I asked the front desk about it.
My reason for the poor review has to do with ADA compliance. I asked for and was told I was given a handicap room. I'm not entirely sure how this room was qualified as handicap. There is a ramp near the door and there is a flat threshold. There are NO hand rails in the bathroom. There is a high sided bathtub. After spending an active day with my family my knee was in bad shape. The combination of the high sided tub and no rails prevented me from showering that night. The bathroom would have been impossible to navigate for a person in a wheelchair. This room is absolutely not ADA compliant.
From the room I'm in, around the backside of the hotel, if you cannot do stairs you can't get to ice or vending. I'm lucky I could send my child to get ice, but I really should have been able to get it. I haven't checked out yet. And I will bring these issues up at checkout. Their response will determine if I report them for non compliance.
If you're an able bodied person this is an okay place to stay. But if you're physically disabled in anyway, don't stay here.

I stayed at this hotel for twenty days but I definitely give this establishment a 0, the staff at the reception is very rude, there are three women who are on different shifts but they treat you horribly, they discriminated against me for being a foreigner and They don't have any customer service, they treat you badly as if you weren't paying for your stay, I definitely wouldn't return to this hotel, these three people have no empathy with customers, one of the worst things there can be in Sandusky, I don't recommend it in any way. Absolutely, plus the rooms are dirty, you can see that they don't clean the room, and you go and request cleaning in the room and they simply say that there is no cleaning service and they leave you with a dirty room and they don't care, it's a disgusting hotel and I do not recommend it at all, please do not go to this hotel, it is the worst, there are even fleas and mites in the beds, a complete disaster.
obviously I'm not going to give my real name, but it's clear that they are trying to wash their hands of it by saying that I never stayed here, in addition to how xenophobic they are towards foreigners, they don't respond for the things that are lost and you go and ask for the review of the security cameras and they don't even work to monitor, they force you to pay a deposit of 100 dollars where they charge you like five charges on the card and simply what they say is "I know about nothing" and that's how it stays and doesn't respond They should fire those people who are at the front desk because they are ruining the image of their hotel, improve the customer service staff.
