image My husband daughter and I stayed here for 2 Saturdays in a row. We are from Michigan and might move to Ohio for my husband job.I don't understand why people have such low expectations and are mean and say untrue things. If you don't like where you're staying, there are 50million other hotels nearby. If you want to be catered too, go stay in luxury hotel. The workers do their best to accommodate and please their guests. You can't teach grown adults manners and respect it is just given and earned. Our room was clean and on the first Saturday the only issue I had was gold rust which looked like gold sand coming out of the bathtub faucet after I showered. I told the two workers upon checking out and thanked them. They wrote up a ticket to get it looked at in front of me. This is how you are supposed to handle issues! I asked for more pillows and I asked for towels and shampoo and conditioner and body wash during both stays. Each time, I was greeted with a smile and was given what I asked for. We even lost our room keys, or someone at the pool took it off the table. Again, went up to front desk gave me new key card and assured me that the card that the person took will be disconnected so if they tried using it,it won't work. Again, handled in a professional manner. I was bummed I couldn't use Jacuzzi, but I understood that it needed to be fixed for chip repair and resurfacing. I guess a few days prior to our visit a big chip came off and they had to drain it and close it down. Hopefully within the next few days it will be back up Breakfast was also a blessing in the morning. The only issue is the egg beater eggs didn't have flavor. I wish all hotels use real eggs when cooking because it tastes much better. I still ate them and enjoyed them smeared on my English muffin sandwich with cream cheese and bits of sausage I cut up with the eggs. I also shared a pumpkin waffle with my daughter mmmm so good! Thank you God bless your business
Nearby activities: Unsure because I'm not from Ohio. But I heard they were having home show over the weekend. Just ask Google if you get bored.
Food & drinks: Not even 10 minutes away. So much in walking distance to choose from.

image This was the worse stay ever. Valentines Day was ruined and all they wanted to do was give us a discount on the room. Then they moved us to a different room and charged us again. That room had ashes all over the bed. Not to mention there was no hot water and they didnt know when it would be fixed smh. No compensation for nothin.

image My stay mimicks the other reviews regarding cleanliness. Carpets were stained, holes in the curtains. Every surface was dusty enough, you could draw on the dust. No hot water during the stay either. Luckily I didn't notice any bugs but the bed and pillows were some of the most uncomfortable I've used. Wouldn't recommend it, as there are much better options so close.

image The only thing that was bad was that there wasn't any Hot water. We went to take a shower and NO HOT WATER! In the Room!! We inquiry about this and apparently the hot water tank heaters went out! The Breakfast was very good, scrambled eggs,country potatoes, sausage links, were very good!
Noteworthy details: The Hot tub by the inside pool, was definitely, hot and really enjoyed it. The Hot Water in the Room Was Not Hot at All!!!

image The night time worker was super rude after I had brought up a serious issue of my cousin having a boy from the pool pull her bathing suit down. He told me there was nothing he could do then proceeded to yell at me and my family to call 911 if it was so important. I told him that he was escalating the situation in front of my young cousin, he then came out from behind the counter and got in my face yelling at me that we can then go into the pool area and confront the kids about it if it would make me happy as he shoved his finger into my face. I told him he was making the situation worse by screaming at me and my family but he then told me if I didnt like it to call the police while my younger cousin was sitting there almost in tears. I told him I did not like his attitude and we were going back up to our room if he was not going to solve the issue which caused him to run behind the counter and scream that he was going to call 911 for us. Which we had told him no that calling 911 was escalating the situation and we did not understand why he could not have just went and talked to the kids parents or have done anything about the children screaming and pulling down my cousins bathing suit. I am so disappointed that a member of this staff has treated my family and I like this. There was no need to become as aggressive as he was while we were staying calm as we spoke about our problem. I will not be staying here again because of the lack of respect and not prioritizing the safety of child.

Hi Corvette, thank you for your review.I have gone through the camera footage of your conversations with the front desk, and your conversation with the front desk person this morning as well. Unfortunately, the cameras do not record the pool room, but I will tell you that our front desk will not get involved in anything that becomes a legal situation, including what basically became SA on a minor. We will have police involvement at that time so they may mediate the situation, as you were witness to it, the parents of the other child were witness to it, but front desk was not. The child's safety was always a priority, but it needed to be handled properly. The police, in this case, would not have been escalating the situation, but putting a full stop to it. When he did talk to the families in the pool area their answer was, of course, this didn't happen. This is why we want police involvement in situations like this, again especially anything that verges on legal issues. We do apologize you felt uncomfortable, but we stand by on this one the police were the best option.
