I would not recommend this place. I dont care what any other reviews say, please search around first before putting a loved one in this facility.
Its an outdated, depressing place. My mother was in both rehab for a month and on the nursing home floor for a few weeks before she passed.
There were only a couple of the nurses that had any compassion. Some of the aides were nice and helpful and others were rude and had an attitude. They were always short staffed. My brother and I were there every day, three times a day to make sure my mother ate. Otherwise they would bring the tray to her room and just leave it in front of her.
We had to constantly be on top of her medical needs/issues. The nurse practitioner, Alicia Medina, forgot to continue giving my mother her blood thinner. She dropped it for a day or two to get her INR level down and then forgot to continue it. How does this happen? Luckily, my brother caught the mistake. My mother had been on this medication for 30 years. When approached she immediately tried to blame someone else.
The lab that they use there is terrible. We waited over a week for a urine culture to come back because they screwed up. Also, my mothers blood was drawn on a regular basis to check her INR level. Sometimes it would come back inconclusive or pending. There were times that we actually dont think it was ever drawn as there were no bandages on my
Mothers arms. A complete joke and a huge case of negligence!
Please research other places before you send a loved one here! Trust me, I spent enough time in this place to know that its not good.

False expectations by admissions. Undue stress right before surgery. Stay away from nursing and rehab.
