This insurance company has been absolutely catastrophic to deal with. We are an independent dealership, and two vehicles insured by Progressive were damaged on April 20th of this year. It took around a month for them to establish liability for the claim. Then it took nearly four months total to finally pay out for the direct damage claim. They did NOT cover the floorplan financing, so we ended up losing over $4,000 in the loan on vehicles we could not sell. In trying to simply communicate effectively and respectfully with Progressive's rep (in our case, Ebony M.), we were given constant delays, ignored requests for status updates, and even told we were 'harassing' them by asking for information.
The experience in total was draining, inconvenient, extremely expensive, rude, and one of the single worst examples of corporate behavior we've seen in more than two decades of experience. For no rational reason other than malicious or oblivious incompetence. Inexcusably bad at all levels.
The icing on this is that it took an outside oversight agency to apply pressure to even reach this limited resolution to our situation. In our case, that agency was the Oklahoma Insurance Department in Oklahoma City. If you are facing similar aggravations in dealing with Progressive, it would be worth pursuing the state insurance regulatory apparatus to gain some traction and communicate your issues.

Horrible service. I have been dealing with Claim #217919856 since 03/24/2021. They have never reached out to me with any type of update and when I call or email for an update I get the run-around. To this day this Claim # has still not been resolved. When I call for an update they treat me as if I have done something wrong. Horrible horrible horrible. This has been the worst insurance claim I have ever dealt with.
