Excellent activities staff! They are professional, fun, and compassionate. They provide social and one on one activities that are more quality than I ever saw at any nursing facility I ever worked at. Truly high class!
I can't say enough about the staff and environment at Rockynol! From the secretaries to the chaplain, to the activities staff to those in management, from the aides to the food service staff, everyone here that I knew really showed that they cared the elderly and their families.
I highly recommend Rockynol for anyone who wants a rewarding job or for anyone looking for a high quality of life for their loved one to reside in.

Dad passed in 2017. He loved living at Rockynol and had been reluctant to leave hos condo in Broadview Heights. Moved to Rockynol reluctantly but almost immediately wished he would have moved sooner. It was heartwarming. His health failed that year and he said he had hoped he could have enjoyed Rockynol longer.
Mom, talked often of how being at Rockynol after Dads passing was such a gift. She loved the people, outings, bookclub, bible group and everything that was offered! When her health failed in the Spring of 2021, the Independent and Assisted living staff went above and beyond moving her from Independent living with our family to assisted living. Assisting with getting her into my car for multiple weekly Drs appointments and treatments. Making sure all needs were met

Less than 2 weeks later she was in the hospital. They said they won't feed her because she refused to eat ( refusal due to dentures not being put on) . They haven't been rehabilitating her, but they won't allow her caregiver to do it. There seems to be no help. I can only hope she makes it through this pandemic alive. They are taking advantage of their position during this time.
Update , my aunt never returned from the hospital. She has passed away.
