We had a Murphy bed installed. From the first visit through the installation, the folks at Wilmington Blind were extremely helpful and friendly, with no pressure. The bed arrived right in the window they promised (which is nothing short of a miracle these days!) and they were flexible in scheduling the installation. The installation team were on time and finished the very professional installation in half the time I expected. During the installation process, they reconfirmed the placement, offering good. practical suggestions. Before they left, they took the time to make sure I fully understood the operation and features of the bed and answered any questions that I had. When they left, there was no trace that they had been there (except the bed of course!). Outstanding service throughout. Highly recommend them.

Sally did a great job during our blind consultation! Very knowledgeable about all products. Made what I thought would be difficult very easy! Alex did a great job with the install! Can't get a better warranty any where!

Wonderful experience with Sally at Wilmington Blind, Shutter, Closet & Murphy bed. Excellent product knowledge! I have purchased HD Blinds for three different rooms of my home and just love them! Sally was helpful and patient during my decision process. Will definitely continue using this company in the future. Highly recommend.

This company exceeded my expectations in every way!! We moved from NJ/NY to Wilmington, NC almost 5 years ago. Sally came to the house and patiently helped me select blinds for our windows and screen porch. Alex meticulously and expertly installed them. Just recently, the motor in one of the blinds didnt work and I called Sally. Alex came immediately and fixed the problem. This is small town service from a professional company that I had not experienced up north but am loving here!! Keep up the great customer service!!

For years I dragged my woodworker husband through websites and to a few local places offering Murphy beds, but once we got to ILM Blinds...Murphy Beds, I could stop twisting his arm. Their showroom was stocked with a variety of samples so he could examine their mechanical advantages, hardware and quality finishes - he was sold before Sally started answering all our questions. The fact that she was extremely knowledgeable helped us make the right decisions for our needs: a New Yorker and a Dreamsaver. Alex led the "A team" through a seamless installation, helping us figure out what to do with the trim and router cables. Before leaving, he made sure I knew how to operate the beds and their features.
We have had few guests since installation (Covid-19) but the adult children appreciate the upgrade from our old trundle beds and I have made a point of spending a few nights in each room myself to test them out. The beds are solid, the mechanics are smooth. They are a little lower than my previous guest beds, but are easy to make/change bedding. The mattresses are firm, but comfortable; the backrests work well for reading. Nothing shimmies or shakes when you turn over in the middle of the night. I appreciate the built-in lights and side tables of the New Yorker and my only regret might be that we went for the two different price points instead of going top of the line on both. This was a great investment for our home that will provide a comfortable spot for the guests we hope to welcome after the travel restrictions ease and it is safe for all concerned.
