image I really hate to do this because at one point i enjoyed this location. The staff is extremely rude on the phone and especially in person . I get they have long days and deal with a lot but we all do!! . I had to call 3 times after leaving my dog there all day just to get an update. I went to pick him up and his paw looked so much worse then it did at 8 am (10 hours before) when i dropped him off- ironically the doctor told me to stop putting the antibiotics on his paw cause it looked better . I also made the mistake to assume they would send him home with a cone on i watched them take him out of the kennel in the back with a cone and and when he came out front he didnt have one on they told me i had to go to the other Banfield location at PetSmart in white oak to pick up a cone so i had to drag my dog who was in a kennel all day with a bloody paw into PetSmart with me and thankfully they were so much friendlier there- Ill stick to that location now. its so disappointing to have such a negative experience with this location as we used to really enjoying bringing our dogs there. Id love for the staffs dogs to get treated like they treated my poor baby and then maybe theyd see why i was a nervous wreck all day- which is saying something when normally i could care less (no worries) when my dog goes to the vet. Always trust your gut cause the attitudes i received matched the care my pup received. Do better yall!! Its 2024 nobody has money to waste on bad experiences for their fur babies!

image I would give them negative stars if I could. To start, back at the end of September 2023, my 14-year-old Pomeranian mix was so sick that he died a week later after his dental appointment. At that appointment the doctor said that his kidney values were high and that we needed to put him on a special diet. In no way shape or form did they advise me or warn me that my dog may be passing away sometime soon. I ended up having to take my dog to an emergency vet and putting him down a week later, but Banfield was perfectly fine collecting the money and cleaning his teeth even though he wasnt healthy enough to go under. Not to mention, now I have a cat that has FIP and I am trying to get gabapentin for him to not be in pain, but Banfield will not prescribe the medication unless Im standing directly in front of them. I explained to them that I live about 35 minutes away and if they could just fill the prescription and I could pick it up that would work best because I cannot take a PTO day to go pick up my cats medication. There are no pharmacies around me that carry the medication, so thats not an option. They are giving me an attitude because I would like them to fill a prescription so I can just walk in and walk back out. I literally have six animals and Ive had all of my animals on Banfield plans. I spend a lot of money on their wellness plans. I promise you as soon as I get away from these wellness plans I will be removing my pets from Banfield and never returning. They have horrible customer service. They have an attitude problem and they do not treat my animals with the urgency required. They only care about charging you as much as possible. They dont care about your schedule or your pets health. MY CAT IS PAIN AND THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING UNLESS IM STANDING IN FRONT OF A DOCTOR. THEY KNOW HE HAS FIP. THEY KNOW FIP KILLS but its not making them money so it doesnt matter. Save yourself the hassle and go to a REAL vet.
