Dr. Seyed E. Ghorshi, DDS

I have only been one time for a cleaning and check up, and I was really impressed! The office is nice and modern, and very clean. I felt like I was being treated like family, and well taken care of. Dr. Ghorshi had an excellent chairside manner, and a jovial personality. Vesna, my hygienist, was gentle and through, professional and courteous, and down to earth. She didn't rush me as she answered my questions about my gum health and the extensive dental work I need. I feel very comfortable returning back for my dental work, and feel like I am in good hands. I had a very positive experience...now I just need to win the lottery to pay for my dental work!

I’m giving this office 2 stars because the dentist and hygienists were good, but if I could rate the receptionist... there would be negative stars! Jobs get started, but it takes forever to get them completed. I got a text message/email stating my apt the following day was cancelled bc my crowns didn’t come in on time. Both msg/email requested I called back to reschedule. After several attempts of reaching Jamie at the office, I just left a voicemail and an email. I stated that I wanted to reschedule and expressed my concern that I had travel plans in a few weeks and needed to get this done before we left. Absolutely no response! The following week I called and finally got through to Jamie. She put me on hold for 15 minutes... so I hung up and called back. She tells me the doctors In a procedure and doesn’t have an update! As my kids are screaming in the background I ask her to take my number and call me back. She rudely takes the number and hangs up the minute I finished giving her my number! Guess what? She didn’t call me back! I again call and now she tells me she can’t give me an update and can only schedule when the crowns come in. I asked if there’s anyway she can call the lab or find out a timeframe and she continues to tell me she can’t do anything until they come in, but promised when they do they will see me the same day. I again waited till the end of the week and no phone calls with any updates. I gave up and rebooked flights for the following week knowing she’s not going to help me in anyway. Next week comes around and I email again only to find out the crowns are in. She then tell me the soonest appointment was 2 days later. I took the appointment and wanted to get it over with. After the appointment I am waiting to check out. The assistant stood with me and walked away since she continued to take phone calls. Phone calls are done and she’s on the computer not acknowledging me. I regret not walking out and not giving her the run around for the money. I finally get the amount, write the check and slide it towards her. Jamie didn’t even lift her head. I stood about a minute and started walking out. She had the audacity to snap and ask me if I’m not going to hand her the check!!! I let her know I had no intentions of doing such, and not to worry... I don’t plan to ever be back.

Awesome, caring dentist and team that both work me thru my dental issues and do an excellent job dealing with my bad gag reflex. The dental hygienists are good, listen to me as a patient, and treat me and my entire family with respect. 5 Stars for Ghorshi and the team!

Courteous staff and good dental care here. They have worked with me and their medically necessary care / checkups and x-rays are covered under Novant's Cigna plan as of the date of this post 8/2019
