Worst office ever find a different place

My entire family and I (husband and children) have been going here 5 years too long. We chose this Dentist because we heard good things about the practice. When you are waiting for your cleaning, they announce over a speaker to the hygienist that their patient is ready. I find this to be very unprofessional-its like youre in a train station. I wasnt crazy about my hygienist they kept giving me, either, and she NEVER asked me if there was any kind of music I would prefer to listen to-it was always her style, which was NOT relaxing. She would rinse my mouth with so much water, that I was nearly choking. I was in their Matthews location about a year ago to get a cleaning, and my teeth had become quite sensitive due to some medication I had been taking. Dr. Howell seemed less than thrilled to be having to clean my teeth at all, and got even more annoyed when I couldnt bear the sensitivity, so she mumbled to the Assistant to put topical on my teeth. So, the Dr just gets up, says nothing, and disappears. She has ZERO bedside manner. My husband isnt happy with this practice either. Long story short-you get what you pay for. We had an HMO. Front staff-attitude, young, inexperienced and am I-dont-care attitude. Well, we finally switched to a PPO. WHAT a difference!!! Professionalism, over-the-top-kind, prompt follow up. We are ALL switched over to this new practice.

It's been a nightmare getting night guard done and I have excellent insurance. Their customer service is bad. I should not have to call 10 or 15 times to get the job done. It is still unresolved and it has been 7 months!

I have been a patient at Carolina Dental for several years. This office as been very nice with working with my crazy schedule. I have been able to call and they get me in within a few days if not the same or next day. Thank you, Carolina Dental

Dr Howell and her team are the absolute best!!! Always nice and professional!!!
