image If you have accounts here…if you need help of any sort…FORGET IT! The only persons answering phones are overseas…important questions related to your acct security are NEVER answered and…if they answer you cannot understand them. ask for a supervisor…they are busy. Ask for an English speaking person…there isn’t one! I have never been so frustrated in my entire life.

image If you are not a current client, my best advice is do not choose Truist!

Prior to the merger of BB&T and Suntrust, both banks were an excellent choice. The merger has created an unmitigated disaster.

If you are willing to spend 15-30 minutes attempting to log in, have it. If you are willing to have to change your “cross tracking”, have it. If you are willing to leap thru multiple hoops to reach a human being on their customer service (a misnomer), have it.

The old saying: “Don’t fix it if it ain’t broke” completely escaped the officers of these two banks!

image I NEVER had a problem with SUNTRUST but since BB&T merged with them you can't even call to make a car payment. They ask... (what us the phone we called to ask about your account? ) type in my phone number, and it never recognizes it! Probably because they never called in the first place! Now, I call a number and they say they are a collections. The person you get is working from home and says they are from Truist working in the collections dept. I ask WTH, am I on a list, have I been put on a list? She tells me not that she can see, so I ask her what phone number can I call to make a payment on the phone, I live in a dead spot for cell signal and cannot always get on line. Not that, that would help because a lot if the time I can't get things to load up to get online!
They can't give you a phone number, they can't tell you where a branch is and when I've tried to call their main headquarters in North Carolina the number dies not work!
I think my next call is going to be to my State Attorney Generals Office and get them to investigate this along with calling my Congressman and Senators office.
This needs to be looked into!

image This is a horrible bank. They took out three car loan payments in one month. They say they returned money by check & I never received it. Spent hours on the phone and no one took notes of calls. Takes a hour wait to talk to anyone. Don't go here its a scam!!!!!

image Never had a problem with Suntrust. Truist customer service is awful. Long wait times. No offer to call back. Waited over an hour to speak to a supervisor and am still trying to find a working corporate number.

image I closed out my account a couple of months ago and now they say I owe them money. I call they have no idea what to do so they discount the phone. Im so sick of this bank. I would not advise anyone to do business with them.

image If you Customer Service stay away from this bank, it is absolutely terrible at my local branch and add the Truist headquarters.

image Worst bank ever. Fraudulent fees. I started a new job and had direct deposit set up, they closed my account for non-use without notifying me, I didnt find out until I tried to use my account. My job is still waiting for them to return the funds and now they are holding my money. Ive come the their branch twice and was lied to the first time. Today I closed all of my accounts I suggest you do the same.
