      Thanks for the feedback, Robin, but it's a bit unclear. Your donations and purchases at our Watertown location help fund our rehabilitation centers where men and women who've lost everything to alcohol and drugs find hope and a second chance.Providing a low-cost alternative for families trying to save money is a wonderful benefit to our stores, but it is secondary to providing the means to operate over 80 such centers throughout the country. Having said that, people who truly cannot afford to shop in our stores are more than welcome to apply for assistance from The Salvation Army. Every day, a great many of your fellow shoppers are beneficiaries of this sort of assistance. They are provided with a voucher to get the clothing, furniture and other household items they need and, as they don't wear name tags or other identification, you'd be hard pressed to pick them out from any other customer. They are likely shopping right alongside you. If you feel you or someone you know might be in need of assistance to purchase items at our Thrift Stores, please call 800-SAL-ARMY and you'll be directed to a Salvation Army community center for assistance.I hope this information is helpful.
