Beautiful old mansion turned into a B&B. Includes breakfast. Lots of antique furniture. Beautiful dining area with free coffee and a wide selection of teas available throughout the day. Comfortable and nicely decorated rooms with updated bathrooms. Really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely b+b near by everything I want to do in Utica. The host is kind, informative and helpful. Love the breakfast burrito!
Rooms: We used two public spaces for business meetings. It was a comfortable environment to talk about difficult topics.
Walkability: It is in a road with sidewalks. With some trees for cover from the sun or weather.

Museum is a short walk from the inn, I also found delicious Italian cuisine downtown.
Rooms: I loved my room so much, I had to find a reason to leave.

Great location and beautiful renovations. The rooms are comfortable. We reserved one of the rooms with a pull out couch for my teenage son and registered him as a guest but the 2nd bed wasnt set up when we arrived. I think we were supposed to specifically ask ahead of time. We arrived at 9:30pm after driving through an unexpected snow squall so didnt want to bother the host at that hour. We were able to make it work with what was in the room though, and it was still quite comfortable and enjoyable. The shower and bathroom were amazing! A lot of attention was paid to the renovation. The whole experience was clouded by a shrieking, screaming, crying toddler in the room next door whose parent allowed them to run through the hallway and up and down the stairs promptly at 7 am and continuing through the morning. I was awake at 7 but really couldnt tune out the extraneous noise enough to enjoy my morning. Its a beautiful inn, and the staff person we saw was wonderful, but expect sound to travel. Potentially, A LOT of sound. We stayed at a room on the first floor and maybe it is quieter upstairs. Ive stayed at B&Bs before and knew what to expect, but Ive always experienced that other guests know what to expect as well and make at least some attempt to respect the peaceful enjoyment of other guests. Im not likely to stay again but its not at all a reflection on the inn, the rooms, or staff.
