I went to this Midas location to have new tires mounted and balanced. I also had my brakes inspected. I was told my rotors were perfectly fine and brake pads still had approximately 70% life left. I didn’t notice it instantly but after the second day I felt vibration in the steering wheel. My handling on my truck was very jerky and felt like the wheels were going to fall off, so I took my truck back to get the balance looked at. They told me this time that my balance was perfectly fine and that now my brakes were getting stuck. They said that both of my front rotors and brakes needed to be replaced (Almost $500 worth of damage). The guy advised me to get this service done as soon as possible because my truck would not pass a state inspection. Keep in mind, only a week had past since they told me my brakes were perfectly fine. I’m sure anyone can understand my frustration so I decided to pick my truck up and take it some place else. When I showed up, the employees were very rude and unapologetic. The guy working on my truck was very unprofessional and kept making sarcastic comments. I ended up taking my truck to Drivers village in Cicero to get my wheels balanced and a brake inspection. They told me my brakes were fine and that my balance was off. My truck is now driving like brand new. I don’t know if the machine at this Midas location is uncalibrated or if they are simply out to take advantage of their customers. But, one thing is certain, I will be taking my business some place other than Midas and I advise anyone else to do the same. Services: Tyres, Brakes, Wheel alignment
