Dr. Hecht is an amazing dentist. He was able to save a few of my teeth and help me to avoid a root canal due to his extreme skill and patience. In addition, he is extremely down-to-earth, funny, and has an amazing bedside manner which helps put you at ease. His office is equipped with cutting edge equipment including video screens with picture-taking abilities, as well. I felt no discomfort at all, as he is extremely adept in various anesthetic techniques. Additionally, his office staff is extremely courteous, professional, and accommodating. I know I am always in the best of hands with Dr. Hecht! Thank you so much!

Had 3 cavities filled ! No novocaine, no pain ! Highly recommend !
My first experience with Dr. Hecht was GREAT. I lost a filling at 2:30 in the afternoon. Called Staten island Dental care at 3 PM and was seated in the chair at 3:30. By 4 o'clock I had a new filling, never felt anything and I was off to work. That was over a year ago and since then I go for regular cleanings with Gina. She has been wonderful. Very patient. The Zel at the front desk has been very accommodating when making appointment and sending reminders and following up after care. All my appointments are on time. No waiting in the office. Highly Recommend.

I've just recently starting to go to Dr. Hecht's office this year as my new dentist. Prior to that I'm sad to say, I hadn't gone to the dentist over a 3 - 4 year period because I moved and changed jobs but just never took the time to find a new dentist. When I finally visited his office it was a refreshing experience compared to the prior dentists that I used in the past. Everyone who worked there were very professional, friendly and approachable. Not only that, they were extremely informative. I learned the proper way to brush my teeth and to floss and the reasoning behind it. Prior to that I was just told to brush and floss but it was assumed that everyone knew the proper way to do this. Every visit to the office I'm greeted with a friendly face and a nice smile. It's like one big happy family there and it's a pleasure to be there. The dentist is no longer a dreadful visit to a place that no one wants to go to. I would definitely reccommend this dentist to everyone I know.
Update.... Had a tooth extraction today. At first I was worried but once again the staff and entire team here made me feel completely comfortable and at ease with the procedure. Everything was explained to me and I felt comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Not that I would want to have another extraction, but if I did... This would be the place I'd come. Thanks once again for all the help.
