Hired him for $900 to evict a tenant. He had to go to court 3 times. Now wants another $900. When I complained he settled for another $450. Which is still wrong. He said it was $900 to do the eviction not $1800

It was two separate evictions, one nonpayment where a warrant was obtained after one court date. They paid in full after the warrant was issued, which necessitated a second eviction needing to be done as a holdover. The holdover consisted of two court dates because the tenant requested the mandatory adjournment for an attorney. I have no control over that. The charges were based on two evictions being needed, rather than one. The rate was reduced as a courtesy. We are sorry that you were not satisfied with our office, appreciate the time that you were a client, and wish you the best of luck in the future.
