I called Bethany Joy Costumes in a panic to have her do a rush job on my wedding gown weeks before my wedding. She made time immediately to get me in and had created an incredible bustle for my stubborn wedding dress within days of visiting her beautiful studio space in midtown. The price was just right, and her service was just incredible. She is the Gandhi of costumes and clothing. She is also cool and personable and stylish. She has such a vision, it is no surprise she is one of the favorite costumes for Broadway and TV. I will call her with any problem anytime. I trust her and her team completely!

I had a wonderful experience with Bethany! From her beautiful shop to calm demeanor, she helped this nervous bride see how an off-the-rack dress can be made to fit like a glove. Her theatrical expertise was an added bonus as she made suggestions to improve fit and even design. Our timeline was easily met, and I was comfortable and looked great on my big day. Highly recommend for bridal alterations!

This professional shop is incredible to work with, especially for broadway and tv/film designers who need large quantities of garments made or altered. They can build anything and have a vast knowledge of fashion and costume history. The shop is complete with two fitting rooms that may also be rented out by the day or week. Rentals are competitively priced and are perfect for productions in need of a fitting space with room to store racks of clothing.

I have had a wonderful experience working with Bethany Joy Costumes. The proprietor was always happy to answer my questions and work with me throughout the entire construction process. The results were, as ever beautifully made and she did everything in her power to ensure that the project stayed on my ideal timetable. I would be more than happy to work with her in the future.
