Contrary to other reviews here, I had a really good experience with Joseph and the RMR Apartments team. Joseph was responsive, upfront, and extremely accommodating. He negotiated with the landlord on my behalf more than once. While we didn’t end up moving forward with the apartment he represented, I wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again down the road.

Don't work with this phony company. I emailed about and apt and got an email back to reach out to Joseph. I called and texted Joseph several times and called the office number to no avail. Dont waist your time or energy. The company is bogus.

RMR APARTMENTS / ABRO MANAGEMENT reviews: For building 346 East 29 St, Brooklyn, NY 11226. This building management DOES NOT give heat or hot water during overnight fall / winter. I just moved from there in a hurry. I froze my buns off last winter. They advertise luxury where there are none. Their gym reeks of mold / sweat because there is NO VENTILATION. Their garbage chute is always backing up all year long causing subsequent roach infestation. There is a high turnover rate. They are getting funds from DHCR for rent stabilized apartments but not rendering services. Rents are upwards in $2300 - 2500 range and these greedy vultures are just lining their pockets without thinking of hard-working tenants. They want tenants to move out so they can take advantage of rent regulation laws. With each vacancy turnover, they can increase the new rent by 17-20%. They are running a scam, a racket that should be investigated!!

I had sent Joseph a message on Streeteasy asking about a listing. Eventually, he called me and during our call he mentioned that he knew of another apartment that was going to be available soon, but he had not posted it online yet. When I asked if he could inform me once it is posted online, he told me he would not do that because he didn't want me to "waste his time." When I tried to explain to him that it would be a bigger waste of time for us to meet without me having seen pictures of the place, he interrupted me, yelled, "then don't come," and hung up on. So ridiculously unprofessional. When I sent him a follow up email explaining that there must have been some miscommunication between us, he did not even bother to return my call. I also tried calling the office to speak to a manager. I left a voicemail and have yet to hear back...it's been weeks. Overall, a terrible experience. Do not waste your time or money with these guys...trust me.

Contacted them through StreetEasy, Worked with Joseph who was professional, easy going, and straightforward. I looked for about four months, and everything was extremely overpriced. I was not shown open listings, which can be a waste of time in NYC. I love my apartment and would recommend Joseph to anyone any day. It was not a scam. I saw the apartment mid-January and moved in mid-February. Thank you Joseph!!
