I lived here for almost three years and loved every minute of it. I've lived in NYC for about six years now and this was, by far, the most pleasant place I lived, with the fondest memories. Street noise is kind of loud on the 7th Ave side, where I was, and you live through hilariously loud traffic jams for the tunnel. Also, the building shakes from the subway. But if you're looking for a true NYC apartment, warts and all, with tons of charm, nice neighbors, and a great location, this is the one. Oh, the landlords are OK, but they jacked my rent up and I had to move. So think about that, as well.
